Coating semiconductors

The coating process describes the application of material to a substrate. Depending on the application, the conditions can vary greatly, e.g. in a vacuum or under high temperature effects. A wide range of requirements are also placed on the spray system (material, seal, lubricant).

Particularly in the semiconductor industry, e.g. when manufacturing OLED displays, coating processes play a major role in the subsequent quality of the produced component. In this case, high-precision spray solutions are increasingly taking centre stage to achieve a homogeneous coating over the entire component which is required for the end product.
